A lifting up

On 20 October 2012, Dzivarasekwa will come to life with the Schools Conference roaring into life.

The one-day programme is set to seek divine intervention for the young generation as they study, more so as they face examinations this last quarter of the year. A revival for young people is set to sweep through Dzivarasekwa, a high density suburb in Harare, Zimbabwe. This is the time that the Lord appointed for the youth to stand up and not allow themselves to be despised because of their age. In Psalm 110 vs 1 - 3 the word of God says:

The LORD says to my Lord:
 “Sit at my right hand,
Until I make Thine enemies a footstool for Thy feet.”
The LORD will stretch forth Thy strong scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of Thine enemies.”
Thy people will volunteer freely in the day of Thy power;
In holy array, from the womb of the dawn,
Thy YOUTH are to Thee as the dew.

All over the world, young people are coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ in unprecedented numbers, however, those who live in the ghettos have been treated like outcasts, like nothing good will come out of them or out of the areas they are growing in.

As the Body of Christ - Youth in Purpose, we believe we have gotten to the season where when one looks out to the horizon in the morning they see dew blanketing the earth. That is how it will be with this generation, in this season, in Dzivarasekwa. There is a great revival brewing in the high density location.

In the word of God, we further read that: “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh, your sons and daughters shall prophesy … your young men shall see visions” (Joel 2:28).

This is the season. The BOC-YP calls on every young student, to join hands and call for God's grace and blessing upon their life in this season. This is the beginning of a new wave of youth leadership in Zimbabwe.

Improved results are coming to DZ; a respectful young generation is rising in DZ; loving children are being born out of this revival, in Jesus name.

The time to act is now.
